This Privacy Policy explains how MEP Plans USA ("we," "us," or "our"), operated through mepplansusa.com, collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you visit our website, submit a contact form, or place an order for engineering services.

Personal Identification Information: Full name, email address, phone number, project address, city, state, and ZIP code provided when you submit a contact form or place an order.

Project Files and Documents: Architectural drawings, floor plans, site plans, elevations, and any other project documents you upload through our order form. These files are stored securely in Cloudflare R2 private cloud storage.

Payment Information: All payment processing is handled exclusively by Stripe. We do not store, see, or have access to your full credit card number, CVV, or banking information. Stripe may collect and retain payment data in accordance with their own privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.

Automatically Collected Information: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages visited, time spent on pages, and referral source collected automatically through Google Analytics when you visit our website.

Communications: Any emails, messages, or inquiries sent to orders@mepplansusa.com.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To prepare and deliver MEP engineering drawings prepared in accordance with applicable California codes based on the information provided by the client
• To communicate with you about your order, project status, revisions, and delivery
• To process payment securely through Stripe
• To send order confirmation, pending payment notifications, and delivery emails through Resend
• To store your uploaded project files securely in Cloudflare R2 during order processing
• To follow up on incomplete or abandoned orders where payment was not completed
• To contact you by email, phone, or text message regarding your project inquiry or order
• To improve our website and services using aggregated Google Analytics traffic data
• To serve relevant advertisements through Google Ads

By submitting any contact form or order form on mepplansusa.com you consent to receiving transactional communications from MEP Plans USA regarding your inquiry or order including order confirmations, status updates, and delivery notifications. You also consent to being contacted by MEP Plans USA regarding your project or related services. You may opt out of non-transactional communications at any time by emailing orders@mepplansusa.com.

5. File Storage and Retention

Uploaded project files are stored in Cloudflare R2 private cloud storage and are not publicly accessible. Files uploaded during the order process are automatically deleted after 30 days unless they are associated with a completed paid order. Files associated with completed paid orders are retained for a commercially reasonable period for business recordkeeping purposes. Project files are only accessed by the MEP Plans USA production team for the purpose of preparing your engineering plans. Files are never sold or shared with any third party outside of the assigned production team.

6. Data Security

All data transmitted between your browser and our website is encrypted using HTTPS with TLS encryption. Payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe which is PCI DSS compliant. Project files are stored in a private Cloudflare R2 bucket requiring authenticated access. We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use Google Analytics cookies to analyze website traffic and improve our services. We use Google Ads conversion tracking to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. We do not use cookies to store personal information. You may disable cookies in your browser settings however some website functionality may be affected.

8. California Privacy Rights

California residents may have additional privacy rights under applicable California privacy laws including the California Consumer Privacy Act. To exercise any California privacy rights please submit a request to orders@mepplansusa.com with the subject line CALIFORNIA PRIVACY REQUEST.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate personal information, request deletion of your personal information subject to legal retention requirements, opt out of marketing communications at any time, and withdraw consent to being contacted for marketing purposes.

10. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor please contact us immediately at orders@mepplansusa.com.
