How much does rush service cost?

Standard turnaround is 5 business days and is included at no charge ($0). If you need plans faster, Priority delivery (3 business days) is +$299 and Expedited delivery (1–2 business days) is +$599. These are flat fees at any ADU size and any discipline count.

Turnaround options at a glance

The turnaround clock starts when we have your complete project information — finalized architectural floor plans, equipment preferences, and ADU details. Expedited speeds up our production time; it does not change how long your city takes to review the permit.

How rush combines with the plan price

The rush fee is added on top of your plan price and any Title 24 add-on. A few worked examples:

Do you actually need rush?

Most projects are well served by the included 5-business-day standard option — permit timelines at the city are usually the longer pole in the tent. Consider Priority or Express when:

• You are racing a permit-submittal deadline or a contractor's start date.
• An appraisal, financing, or sale milestone depends on plans in hand.
• You discovered the MEP requirement late and need to catch up.

Expedited affects only our production speed and quality is unchanged — every rushed set still includes two revisions, city corrections, and permit-ready PDF delivery, all with no sales tax. Expedited does not waive or alter any included benefit.
