How many revisions are included?

Two rounds of revisions are included free with every order, so you can refine the design after the first draft without any added cost. Beyond those two, additional revisions are a flat $150 each. Separately — and this does not count against your two revisions — city plan-check corrections to our MEP plans are always free until your permit is issued.

What counts as a revision

A revision is a change you ask for after we deliver the plans — for example:

• Relocating the electrical panel or adding receptacles.
• Swapping a tankless water heater for a heat pump water heater.
• Moving a mini-split head or changing the ventilation approach.
• Adjusting fixture locations after an architectural tweak.

How to make the two free rounds count

1. Finalize your architectural floor plan before we start, so layouts don't shift mid-design.
2. Confirm appliances and equipment preferences up front (all-electric vs. gas, water heater type).
3. Bundle your edits into one consolidated round rather than sending changes piecemeal.

Most ADU projects never use the second revision, let alone a paid third. Because we deliver a coordinated MEP set, the disciplines already agree with one another, so the typical "revision" is a small owner preference rather than a fix.

Example: A homeowner receives the Full MEP set, then asks to move the laundry and add a bathroom exhaust fan (round 1), and later relocates the subpanel (round 2). Both rounds are free. If they then decide to redesign the kitchen layout entirely (round 3), that revision is $150. Meanwhile, any correction the city raises on those same plans is still handled at no charge.
