How does ordering work?
Ordering is a guided three-step online flow at order.html: you choose your plans and turnaround, tell us about your project, and check out securely. The whole thing takes a few minutes, and you don't need to have every technical answer ready to start.
The three steps
- Plans. Choose your plan type — a Single discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing), any Two disciplines, or the Full MEP Package — then pick the ADU size tier that matches your project (Up to 600 SF, 601–800, 801–1,000, or 1,001–1,200 SF). You can optionally add a Title 24 report for $240, and select your turnaround. The order summary calculates your exact price as you go.
- Details. Enter the project address (we use it to confirm your California climate zone and local code requirements), your contact information, who you are (homeowner, contractor, architect, designer, and so on), the project type (Detached ADU, Attached ADU, Garage Conversion, JADU, or Addition), the project status, and a short scope of work.
- Checkout. Review the order recap — plan, disciplines, size, Title 24, and turnaround — and pay securely via Stripe (256-bit SSL; no card data is stored).

Every order includes Standard turnaround at no extra cost; faster options are available when you have a deadline:

The turnaround clock starts when we have your complete plans and project details — not the moment you click pay — so gathering your files in advance keeps things moving.
Sending us your files
To prepare your plans we work from your architectural drawings — the floor plan, site plan, and elevations (a full architectural set is ideal). You can upload them right at checkout, or email them to orders@mepplansusa.com afterward. Either way works, and choosing to email later does not delay your order, because the turnaround clock only begins once your complete information reaches us. PDF or common CAD formats are both accepted, and a single combined architectural PDF covers everything we need. If you don't have architectural plans yet, you can still order — we begin once your drawings are ready and can advise exactly what to provide.

- Two revisions.
- City corrections related to our MEP plans — if plan check returns MEP corrections, we revise and resubmit at no charge until the permit is issued.
- No California sales tax.
